Each Valentine’s Day, for the past 40 years, I have given my wife Allison a special floral arrangement.
It started when I gave her a dozen yellow roses for our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. As a joke, the next year I gave her a dozen yellow noses, Halloween noses painted yellow. Over the years, it has grown to include yellow hoses, cans of Carnation condensed milk, corn on the cob, Jello boxes, pasta, cookies, and the examples shown here. See if you can guess the theme of each arrangement.
BTW, she gets real roses too!
This year's flowers are extra special.
For 2024, I had help from my two granddaughters. Over a series of weeks, we (mostly me!) assembled the 822 LEGO pieces into this bouquet. To see a video of this process, visit my YouTube page.
